Great news
On Saturday, June 20, the Presbytery of the Northwest — the church court that oversees all of the Presbyterian churches in central and northern Alberta — supported the call from First Church to the Rev. Dr. Mark Chiang to become your minister. Mark will officially begin his ministry with you on August 1, although you may see him around from time to time before then. Rev. Dr. Mark Chiang
Mark has served in ministry with The Presbyterian Church in Canada for over two decades, beginning as Director of Music and ruling elder for a rural congregation in Ontario. His first call as Minister of Word and Sacrament was to a new church development in Spruce Grove, and he has lived in the Edmonton region ever since.
